Hi All,
Now that you have finished using Gummi Pflege on your vehicles I would like to remind you about Water Drain blockage.
It can cause problems in many & various areas.
I've dug out the links detailing the position of the Water Drains for each Model - :grin:
As a result of personal experience I have also suggested that you take off the wiper trim panel.I found a small handfull of vegitation in there.

ALSO
The box that holds the R172 battery can fill with water.
If it does, the water will overflow into the car and on to the heater fan/blower as the box is also the air intake for the heater/aircon system.
The drain is at the very front of the battery in the middle, you will be able to find it with your finger. Sticking your finger down it will probably unblock it.
You only need to lift the bonnet and take the lid of the battery box to check.
OTHER WORK YOU CAN DO -
Remove Wiper Trim Panel and clean area behind. Dab of grease on loints of Wiper Mechanism whilst you have access to it.
Procedure for R170. R171&R172 Should be similar but I can't find a direct reference to it.
1 Remove wiper arms
2 Unscrew 7 screws (1)
3 Remove cable strap (arrow) in center area
4 Lift air inlet
5 Separate coupling (2) of the washing nozzles
6 Separate electric connector (3) on the printed circuit board (4)
7 Remove water hose and electric wiring through side opening at air inlet
8 Remove air inlet 9 Install in opposite order
