Hmmm... according to this, Capri Blue looks much more "blue" and bolder -- very similar to the Caspian blue car posted by MDLSLK55 above. I'm pretty sure I saw a Caspian Blue sedan at the MB dealership, and it was a very dark, almost black, blue. Now I'm confused again.
I'm not 100% sure, but I'm fairly certain Mystic Blue is NOT the same as Capri Blue...it is much more "blue".

Caspian/Benitoit blue is a great colour in any ligthing. It is a real chameleon hue. It is blue-black at night, it is navy blue on cloudy and rainy days and it is dark turquoise under the sun. I love it!
Wow, that's a great pair of photos! Thanks.

The photo on the left is the color I saw at the MB Dealer for Caspian Blue... but wow, in the sun, that's awesome.

Does anyone have a similar pair of pics of the same car for Capri Blue?

My salesman told me that Caspian/Benitoite blue was available for other MB models as a Designo colour. However, I think the sedan you saw was more likely Black Opal, one of the great MB colours. Unfortunately, it is not available for the SLK.

...ok ok, now that i see yrs, i might have to revise that statement/thanks wooly :).

Everest/Andradite Green is a wonderful colour. In fact, I almost chose it. Unfortunately, the metal colour swatch at my dealership was not very accurate and looked cheap. Too bad I couldn't see it "in person"...

With all due respect to the green SLK owners, I think I'll pass on the green. While it is a great looking color by itself, it looks almost identical to the millions of the dark green BMW 3 series cars out there.

And silver doesn't :biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

Henry,

You cannot lose with the Caspian blue especially if you go for the blue leather interior or the new yellow like beige on the 2009 models.

I would love to find a Blue/Blue SLK... but I'm limited to pre-owned cars. I have a local exotic/sports car dealer here that goes to all the regional auto auctions and looks for cars his clients want -- he then buys them at auction, and then sells it at cost to his clients, plus $2000 for his fee. It's worth it -- since I can get a perfect condition car for less than the public market. He's at three auctions this week, and will see more than 29,000 cars go by. Since it's Friday and I haven't heard from him, he didn't find what I was looking for this week. There's always next week.

I think Blue/Blue is extremely hard to find, I hope you are able to get one as its a unique setup.

I like the contrsat of the beige interior in Zut's car better than the blue interior of the other picture.

I can see were you are heading Zut, if only the leather was more of a nautical or navy blue rather than pepsi blue hue.

Looks good Woolly!

That's the first pics I've seen of a blue interior, SLK, thanks Zut. I agree though that blue may not age well, from what I've seen of it in various hues in other cars - notably Z3's and Volvo's.
