Intrigued by the title..?
Just a thought at the moment, but I'd be interested to see what the general feeling / up take might be on the following...
There are a few members headed over my way for coding changes in the not too distant future, and this has got me thinking about a beer/soft drink or two afterwards....
I then got round to thinking about where .... we have a pretty good Indian next to the airfield which we use for the odd meal, but mainly post flight de-briefing with the odd Cobra (or two...) - after all flying is finished I have to add!
Anyways, there is ample car parking and, It's right next to the airfield so I'm thinking 'Why not have a word with the airfield manager and get the runways (3500 ft and 2700ft) opened up for a few 'legal' speed runs etc etc...
Just gauging interest at the moment - there won't be any costs involved and it could be a giggle.
Any one interested, please add to this thread and I'll see what I can sort out.
Location would be Tollerton Airport, Nottingham, and date to be decided, but sometime after I return so towards the back end of the month, and time wise, thinking 7pm ish, with time for a drink afterwards...
Yet to confirm with the airfield manager (but don't see any problems)

The airfield is overrun with rabbits (we chase them in the helicopters when we want to 'show off' to students).......
