Dunno about anything else but, looking at the cost difference, definitely go with genuine parts.

I'd get a quote form a main dealer. I paid 535 with the Mercedes dealer (Llandudno) in February. For an extra £30 I got a courtesy car. All genuine parts, and a video of the inspection.

 

Thats a decent price though I dont know if a 55 service would be naturally more expensive. Certainly twice as many spark plugs!
