Hello,
My name is John from the bay area and I recently purchased a 1999 Benz SLK 230. I have the AMG sports package and I lowered the car. I don't have my car right now because I had an oil leak so my brother took the car to check it out. I joined SLK World because I wanted to learn more about my SLK and see what other people do to there SLK.

Thanks for the warm welcome. My SLK is a working progress. I uploaded a pix of how the car looked when I purchased it. So far I replaced the AMG front bumper with a new freshly painted one, got a new door, and headlight. There were many minor problems and missing junk I had to get for it. Unfortunately the top isn't working right now so I can't ride around with the top laid back just yet. The car is at my brother place right now. I'll post up a pix of what I have fix once I get the car back. (I'm driving my 02 IS300 right now and it's no where near as fun of a car to drive)
