The hold function stopped working on my 2013 SLK 250. It worked a couple of times and for me and now has stopped altogether. Any idea as to where I should start looking?
Thank you, I will check it out!Brake booster
LOL I wish that were true!Maybe you are just giving that M152 a bit too much gas from time to time.
Thank you. I don't have the eco feature so not able to check that portion. There is a sensor located on the negative terminal of the main battery, if that is faulty then you lose the brake hold function and the stop start eco as well perhaps.
I have pushed really hard but still no luck. When stopped, depress the brake pedal hard to set the HOLD. Light pressure will hold the car but it takes a little more pressure to create the HOLD function.
Good question. Pads are of substantial thickness, and I have no fault codes.Wondering (as we all do): IF the pad sensor itself is faulty, would it prevent the hold feature from working? Would the fault show up in the dash?
