A WindRestrictor Question.....
I love my WindRestictor
Admittedly, I did not do the install myself but rather had my Indy. shop install it and hard wire it proper. Therefore, I did not hang on to the installation instructions.
So, here comes the question. Not always, but often, I notice a "rattle" coming from the WindRestrictor not only when going over bumps but also from slight movement from the force of the wind. I know that there are two capped screws that hold it into place, my guess is that one or both of them may be just a tad loose. My fear is of "over tightening them" which may result in the plexi-glass cracking.
Can you over tighten them and get that unfortunate result? What is the rule of thumb when it comes to tightening those two screws? Also, are there any other suggestions you may have to stop the rattle noise?
