Where to get Eibach springs?

Search wasn't very helpful. I'm looking for the best (meaning cheapest and safest) place to order the Eibach springs for my R171 SLK55. Where online site have you guys have been ordering your new Eibach springs? I know that they are discontinued in the USA but are still available in Europe. I also know that the SLK55 is not listed in their application guide but they have been installed by mmebers without any fitment or handling issues. Apparently there are two Pro-Kit part numbers:

E10-25-013-01-22 (SLK200 Kompressor 171.442)
Front 840 kg, 25mm
Rear 940 kg, 25mm
E10-25-013-02-22 (SLK280 171.442, SLK350 171.456)
Front 910kg, 25mm
Rear 940 kg, 25mm

So I'm looking for the same springs that are made for the SLK280/350. In my research, I also found out that there's a Eibach B12 Pro-Kit (E90-25-013-02-22), which I believe are basically the same Eibach Pro-Kit springs with Bilstein B8 shocks.

Have you considered other options? Tire Rack has H&R, and KW coilovers. Renntech also offers a set of lowering springs for $525, but you'd have to ask them who they source those from and whether they are a bespoke spring for Renntech or a standard part.

H&R springs: I think the consensus is that they are stiffer/harsher for daily driving and lower than the Eibachs.
H&R coilovers: Lower than their springs, requiring spacers, even at the highest setting?
KW: Way more than I'd like to spend right now on suspension...
Renntech: Their stuff seems overpriced in my opinion. I haven't heard of anyone using their springs.

As I said in PM, eBay might be your only option left. They've been discontinued a long while and new sets are getting rare.

Eibach own's shop:
http://www.eibach-shop.com/slk-171/e...ml?language=EN
and
http://www.eibach-shop.com/slk-r171/...4-p-69678.html

But I would be hesitant in using them on a V8. They specifically mention the load on front and rear axes and while I don't know the load from the V8 it will be considerably more. That will decrease life span and possibly means less travel on the spring ending up in a pretty harsh set-up (standard Eibach dropping of 1 inch).

If you need to check something out on the EU side, just hollar.

I'm not sure why Eibach lists nothing for the SLK55 but H&R uses the same spring for the SLK350 and the SLK55. There's a difference in the front Eibach springs for the SLK200 and SLK280/350 but not the rear. Bilstein shocks are the same for the SLK280/350/55 I believe. I may try to locate an Eibach B12 setup since it would include the Pro-Kit springs.

You're correct: B12 = Eibach Pro-Kit springs with Bilstein B8 shocks

Coincidentally, my B12 kit should be arriving today and I hope to have installed next week. I placed the order on 5/12/14.

Only for other applications... On their website, it looks like GMP sells only Carlsson and Renntech springs for the R171 at about $520+. I paid $905 shipped for the Eibach/Bilstein B12 kit.

If you follow the link and menu that appears so, but on the right there is an Eibach logo when viewing the SLK goodies. When clicked upon it will take you to their Eibach page which states to call for pricing.

Sorry to revive an old thread but does anyone have a source for SLK55 Eibach springs still? Has anyone been successful in getting them in the later half of 2014? I'm looking for a mild drop and eibach seems to be the only answer. Thanks!

There hasn't been an offer for the R171 AMG for years. Eibach claims that taking the 350 package will do.

Their own pages offer point of sales around the world:
B12 Pro-Kit | Eibach.com | Performance Suspension | English | Europe

Where is a link to buy this? I think my driver's front shock is starting to puke a bit so replacement may be happening when the car comes out of storage.

If I am going to be replacing them I may as well do the lowering...

*EDIT: Never mind, I found several listings on Ebay. Here is one!
