Hi all

I cannot make this one and its not down to work ! ...I forgot its the AJ fight the saturday night and had already arranged to go for lots and lots of beer with a few mates before the fight so no chance of me getting out to this. I may just be getting in >:D as you are all going out.
Have a great morning out and catch up soon
Pete

Thanks for organising @Davyd1975

We started with rain and bright sunshine & finished with the same.
But the middle bit was top down fun a great laugh with mates.

That new café is well worth a visit.
Simon, the owner is really friendly and chatty.
He let us loose in the showroom.

40K Sierra Cosworth
Lotus Ford Cortina
115K Aston.

A great mixture.

He has invited us to hold a meet there, so watch this space.

Special mention to John for spinning back and checking all was well whilst I fiddled in the boot.
And Paul for tailing me 'just in case' at the start of the journey home.

@frogfoot We only got stuck at the exact same level crossing as the last run.

Those that had concerns wrt my roof servo...it was the coke bottle! Phew!

Got a clunk/thud on a hard turn. Thought 'oh,oh' not suspension, please.
Tried to replicate and hit and miss.
Then wondered if a roof servo was stuck (after the accident a while back).
Again, not consistent.
Accelerate and brake.
Again, inconsistent.

Stopped, played with roof, checked boot and removed EVERYTHING bar the spare.

Fixed.

Thanks to the guys for keeping an eye out in case it turned into a nightmare.
I even got away with getting home before the storm.

Shame the 400four was sold and wouldn't fit in the boot.

Hi guys, sorry for the late reply, been under the weather.
I would like to say thanks for those that turned up. We had R171 in 280, 350 and 55 guise, and R172 55, so a nice range.
Also the weather stayed good for us in the Lincolnshire Wolds. I hope everyone enjoyed opening the taps down there ?
As discussed on the trip, got a few ideas for meets next year so watch this space. Thanks again.
