Going to 16 inch wheels from 15 inch

Hi all,
I'm a recent SLK200 owner already starting a few little projects to improve my car!

I have the 15 inch polished alloys on my car, which look OK from a distance but are quite corroded. I've been able to grab a set of 16 inch wheels over the weekend which are in nice condition, and wondered are they a straight swap? Any difference in wheel bolts for example?

Thanks in advance for any help from anyone thats one the same.

Very much depends on the wheels you are fitting.
The studs have a shape to them & it matters, even if length etc is correct.

Several old threads on the topic.

Many thanks for the reply, of course I should have shown the wheels I have bought - here they are, 16 inch SLK ones.
