Changing a 172's suspension

Has anyone changed the suspension on their 172 from the rock hard SPORTS to the comfort ones? It seems almost all 172's I see for sale have the sports set up, and this is confirmed by a salesman in my local MB dealership! If so, was it fairly straightforward (for a garage) and roughly what was the cost? TIGA
