Slk r172 wheel fitment
So I have the following problem: My car came with 16 inch rims and I changed them for some replica AMG 18 inch wheels about 3 years ago. Yesterday I hit a pot hole and my front left rim cracked. Iv'e been looking for OEM rims (in the US) but I can't find ones that fit. According to the owner's manual the rims must be 18x7.5J ET42. I found some used CLA250 AMG 5 spoke rims but they are 18x7.5J ET52, would that 10mm difference in offset be a problem or could I fit those to my car? I've had no luck finding ones with the OEM specfication.
Also, could I use 10mm spacers to get back to the correct offset value? Does using spacers up front creates any kind of issues?
