Wheel Bolts

Hi,

Could someone let me know if these will fit my R171 SLK55 2005 plate, spoked alloys, see signature pic. If not what size do I need?

Look at this on eBay 20 X M12 X 1.5 27MM RADIUS ALLOY WHEEL BOLTS FIT MERCEDES VANEO 02 | eBay

Cheers.

Id be wary of ebay wheel bolts !

Merc bolts are made to a high spec just clean them up or paint them or put caps on them ?

There the only things that keep your wheels on your car .

Just my two cents worth .

Phil, probably wrong thread for yours anyway

try alloy wheels direct if you need bolts, they are really good at that kind of stuff, or dare I say it, MB themselves. at about Ł7 a bolt, the last time I nearly fainted there.

M12 X 1.5 and radiused seat is correct. I'm just not 100% about the length. Stop being lazy and take one out and measure it Phil!

For the R171: The OEM bolt for the SLK is a 12mmx1.5 thread pitch with a 39mm shank but it also has a R12 ball seat not a cone seat.

Like what others have stated, make sure they conform to OEM specifications in terms of strength and metallurgy.

Thanks for all the info. I've found them.

Look at this on eBay 8 10 16 20 ZINCED M12X1.5 Alloy Wheel bolts Ball-shaped Seat R12 Nuts Studs | eBay

The ones I've got on now are originals, I want new ones for when I get the alloys refurbished.

Cheers.
