R171 Rear shocks (aftermarket and stock)

My R171 comes with BC racing coilover set, one of the rear shocks is completely gone. I am planning to sell the car this year and the stock rear shocks are with me, I wonder if aftermarket and stock shocks are swappable?

To replace coilovers you'll have to put back both shocks *and* springs though, right, not just the shocks? In principle I don't see why that wouldn't work though.

The ride hide difference between front and rear might be a bit obvious, even with the front coilovers set to maximum height.

The suspension is now tuned to have 4 corners with exact ride height. Even with one shock busted, the ride height remain unchanged. If the stock shocks will make the rear higher or lowered, it can be adjusted by the coilover springs.

What i am told the spring determine the ride height, not the shocks? If it is a simple swap, then my headache ia solved.
