Tyre - Front and Rear

Hi All,
I recently changed my rear tires. The original tires is
Front: 225/40/18
Rear: 245/35/18

The new rear tires is 245/40/18.
Appreciate any advise with regards to safety or performance.

Many thanks

Hmm, don't know if that is a good idea. The circumference of your rear tires is now 2,5 % larger than that of the front. Don't know if your ESP is gonna like that. There is a limit to the difference between front and rear, don't know exeactly what is allowed.

Allowed difference is 3%, depending in wear of fronts he could be cutting it close.
