Car model: 2004 slk 3.5L R171

I need atleast theese 4 diagrams as far as I know ...
Power distribution diagram
Ground distribution diagram
Sataliete radio diagram

Could someone please provide me with this it will be very much appreciated.

Then I will explain my issue further and we can see if we can sort the issue ... :coffee::LOL:

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?!
What exactly are you trying to accomplish?!
have no power to my commandCOMAND/radio so I've taken it all out, got my multi meter out and starting running a few test and quickly realised the my 12v live wire to the comand is only carrying between 4-5v instead of the 12v it should be ...

So I need to know what is causing the problem really asap as cant be going without my music lol,

I mean I could just hook a new 12v connection up but that's just brushing the issue under the rug lol and I guess I'd rather not do that.

Do the command COMAND units in my model link up to a relay anywhere down the line do you know ?

Thankyou for getting back to me so fast 😇
Oh, that's .. weird!!

Maybe @i860 have a clue?
I hope somebody can shed some light on it or provide diagrams so I can try work out the problem because ngl its had me scratching my head for days 😅😂 fingers crossed I can get it sorted asap not even took it for a proper spin yet due to no music on in the motor 😒
Well, as far as I know, it's quite simple. Power (+12V) comes from the battery, goes through the fuse, to the HU connector..

I'm not aware of ANYTHING that could cause it to only give 4-5V! You measured that on the connector, HU disconnected, I presume?
The ONLY think I can think of in a pinch, is heavy corrosion on/around the fuse..

Although even that is kind'a doubtful. Not sure it would lower the voltage that much! Worth double checking though. Check the fuses as well (actually measure them, not just visually inspect them). Not sure which one is for the HU, should be easy enough to find out online. But check all of them, just to be absolutely sure.

There's THREE places - under the bonnet (main fuses), in the cabin (on my/our LHD it's on the passenger side) and in the boot (under the carpet, just behind the fuel tank).

Yes ofcourse head unit has to be disconnected for me to test that wire really but there should be still 12v there ... the only thing I can possibly think of causing the voltage to only be 4-5v is a short in the circuit/wiring in the live wire its self or I'm not sure if there is a relay that is connected to the comand/radio somewhere down the line I dont think there is but a relay is something that could cause that sort of problem

But apart from them 2 suggestions I am stumped and really could use some help lol :L
I've checked every fuse apart from the one in the boot because that one says it's only to the navigation do you think I should check the one aswell ?

I dont think it is fuse related tbh but I may be wrong lol

The fuses, relay and the rear SAM in the back are prone to corrosion (leaky seals for the roof, which is quite common), so double check them just to be sure..

If they're fine, and you can't find a nick on the cable (however you'd find that, I don't know, they go on for miles!! :) ), then I honestly have no idea. As far as I know, there's no relay or anything for the +12V supply.. That's kind'a the point of that..

This thing is easy enough to look at. The mat covering it comes out without any tools or anything (it's just held in place by its rigidity :) ), and then there's half a million bolts (actually, it might just have been eight, or was it ten?), but they're easy to get to. Then that plate comes down easily enough.

Okay many thanks for the info and photos your great :D I've just woke up gonna have a cuppa then go look at the rear sam unit as I didnt know that, fingers crossed I can get this sorted today lol

And yeah I didnt think there was a relay but I thought I'd ask.

That was great tbh thankyou, have you got the Power Distribution Diagram & The Ground Distribution Diagram by any chance 🤞😇

Is the audio gateway passenger or driver side mine is RHD UK Plate, just another thought.

Mine's FL (FaceLift), so I didn't have anything in the passenger foot well.. But have a look anyway.

Any extras on the car? Eg radar, non oem parking sensors, reverse camera etc

Don’t take offence at these, just where I’d start
Battery, good condition, connection properly on, +\- good connection to car.

Any water ingress over fuse box under blanked bonnet vent and battery side?

When checking fuses it’s worth swapping lines me for like and cleaning holder with a fibre pen.

The mat hiding fuse8&Sam has a couple of press studs on floor by spare wheel well.
Some of those 8 (think it is more) bolts are recessed and need to be looked for.

Good luck.

What do you mean with "Power Distribution Diagram & The Ground Distribution Diagram"?
Audio gateway is on fuse 26 of the interior fusebox. Comand HU on fuse 41.
Ground points in this thread. Ground points on the car body
