Hello all! For the last 10,000 miles my windows have been getting progressively slower when opening or closing. And currently, they squeak when they are about to meet the headliner.

Is there something I can lubricate or clean quickly to resolve this? And the second question is: do I have to remove the door panels to do this? I figure it's an obvious yes but I did it before and it's a little time-consuming.

i would suggest a 'search' top right, if you haven't already for your query

If you're not sure it's mechanical I would recommend Gummi Pflege to treat the rubber. And if you are I would still recommend it :biglaugh: - for the windows and the roof.

if it is just a squeak, then the gummi will solve that. as for the slowness, unless the rubber is getting hard and hindering the window progress, the gummi will also soften the rubber. so gummi it up and then report back if both symptoms are still there.

u do not have to remove the door panel to do anything gummi wise
