Front,I doubt it. I tried 8,5J 235 ET35 and they rubbed against the suspension.
I think you will need spacers.
If they come from a W211 they have a seating for M14 bolts and your R171 has M12.
You will need special bolts with a head having a 14 mm radius and M12 thread.
The seller didn't response to my request for more info and has removed his/her ad :frown:
So I'm again searching the net for a nice set of 18" wheels :smile:
I think I like the classic multi spoke look most on the R171.
Which other Mercedes (models) wheels are compatible with the R171 (interchangeable) ?

Talked to the guy over the phone and my daughter is currently underway getting them (500km trip pff). I'll need 12mm bolts with a 14mm head though.
I hope the state they're in is not dissapointing. For $ 550,- (with almost brandnew tires) it's a steal (I think).
I'll post some pictures in spring when they're mounted under the car.
