Bit of a tootle around the Cotswolds in lovely sunshine this morning. Dry roads, many of which have been recently repaired, minimal traffic and half empty car parks. He he
Your workmen are ahead of schedule.
Ours are still installing the potholes pre repair ;)

Frogfoot! Is that a subdued 'SLKworld.com' decal on the bonnet or did you photoshop that on? Sneaky devil, either way.
Decal i had made , its been on the car for years now but as its a subtle change in silver its very stealth like and is more noticable in darker light conditions 😉

A light overcast and 72 degrees F. To town and back for Bloody Mary mix and Cheetos. All very nice except for the Mexican in a clapped-out pick up who looked directly at me and pulled out in front of me.
I'll have to stop carrying a sidearm. Its just too tempting.

Absolutely glorious day in North Wales.
Quick trip to NCAR for cake and coffee.
Run down the hill (should have taken car) to Talacre for views
Sadly a narrow road, so no pics.

Then the obligatory Conwy Tunnels.
Then the obligatory Conwy Tunnels.
Then the obligatory Conwy Tunnels.
Then the obligatory Conwy Tunnels.
Etc etc.
Couldn't get one completely clear run, but still fun.

The weird, and typically Welsh, thing.
Glorious sunshine. Barely a cloud in the sky.
But it rained.
Light rain mostly, but the approach to the tunnels it was an open heavens run.
Only to emerge into bright sun again.

Rainbows popped up all over the place, but not at convenient points.

It was raining during pic one.
No cloud and brilliant sunshine, but rain.

I think Douglas Adams was right.

I am a rain God.

Really nice day in London so I thought I’d pick the kid up from school. Of course, as soon as I arrive, I’ll have to park around the corner and put the lid on so as not to embarrass the little spanner! :ROFLMAO:
I dunno, I think if I were a kid, I'd like to be seen in Dad's roadster.

Nah. If you were a kid, you'd want to be driving Dad's roadster 😉

First time this year I wore shorts and a T-shirt to the gym. Dropped the top for the short drive there, went for an 86º boulevard blast afterwards. Boulevards were jammed today for some reason, so cut it short. No fun at 10 mph. Been a shut-in for a bit and lots of rain lately, so felt especially good to get out today.

Amazingly, another shopping list appeared!

Off to supermarket then.
Quick (for me) drive down the local lanes, refinery in the backdrop.

This time I remembered both bags and shopping.
No need to put top back up, most shelves were empty.

I do love those glares as a convertible trundles into a crowded car park.
Than, outright contempt as I pack the goodies and drop the top again.

Dodging the rain yesterday, it was 63º F when I drove home with the top down.

Today was 59º F at 0500 when I drove to work. 90% chance of rain, but it apparently had moved on earlier so didn't need to put the top back up. Driving home from work, it was a beautiful 74º F with a more than slight breeze.

As I only drove home from work and I have posted many pictures of that particular trek with the top down, I decided to instead offer a picture of the gin I was enjoying with my Lady while sitting on my deck after arriving home....

Sadly, predicted to be only a high of 38º F tomorrow....

A brief blat, chasing from supermart to supermart.
Hard to find smokes anywhere right now.

How they gonna know what a 60/day smoker's cough sounds like if I can't get my smokes.

Still, roof down and a decent track on the stereo that I'd long forgot.

KI55 - God Of Thunder.

Quite enjoyable.

Woke up to another sunny day here in Barrhead. Would have been bad of me not to take advantage of it, so took a leisurely top down drive over to the coast and up past Largs before heading back across the moors through Dalry. :)
