Finally last week started putting the top down on the SLK. It was 58 degrees F and going 40 to 45 mph it was beautiful. I also took my son's 2002 Camaro SS for a spin the other day and took the t-tops off. Looked like spring was finally here.

Today, at 3:00 PM the temp is 38. I look out the window and it's a snow shower. I just took a look at the 10 day forecast and nothing over 45 degrees.

The weather for the last few days seems to have been a tease. What a bummer.

Here in Bavaria, just an hour north of the Alps, we have had a very mild winter and have started a very nice spring. The SLK only sat a couple times for more than 2 weeks between top down drives, but then again, as long as it's a sunny day and there isn't much dried salt on the roads, I am glad to have the top down. 38 without the snow would be fine with the airflow and heating in the SLK. The snowy weather here seems to have confined itself to about a week at a time scattered through the season.

All I can offer you for suggestions is get all the indoor stuff completed while the weather is bad so you can enjoy that much more time driving the way you should!

Global warming??? seem more like global cooling, it's 34F outside with light rain, looks like it might be snowing soon. We had record setting snow storms this year, our rivers, reservoirs, and creeks are overflowing, some to the point where it's about to overflow to the streets and they are talking about droughts and charging more for water usage. I think this whole global warming thing is on the same page as our droughts. An excuse to charge more.

Global warming means the average temperature of the globe goes up, most noticably on the North and South. However, locally the temperature may not actually be warmer, it may be cooler, as the weather system is extremely complex. In general, seasons will become more extreme...so expect a hot and dry summers (wet if you are in coastal regions as the ice caps and glaciers are melting and you'll be flooded).

I beleive Global warming IS a natural phenomenon, however, humans have accelerated it exponentially, and we won't be able to adapt fast enough.

Just wanted to jump back in and keep the thread from becoming a discussion on whether or not global warming is real, man-made or natural, etc.... Someone can always start a new thread on that if they want.

It was just a joke and the thread was just my whining about how the weather has been a tease around here. We've had really warm wweather for a week and then for the last few days it's been really cold. My daughter had two softball games today in 30 degree weather.
