When is a Free car....

Not a cheap car :surprise:

This was gifted to me between Christmas & New Year 0:)

Having given it the "Once Over" and deciding it needs a bit of TLC

It now looks like this...... :surprise:

I was very tempted to something daft with the colour!

But age and wife wouldn't allow it :frown:

I'm now trying to source some AMG 18"'

Wow! Great job! Color is a stand out!
It's not finished yet, the good picture is the before shot! :surprise:

You did all this in a few weeks? WOW You are a monster mechanic!
Not me! my painter friend, the only problem I'm having is fabricating decent brackets for the wings/ fenders? there is not much left on the original to take a template from :frown:

Looking good so far on the tlc front. Always ends up a bigger job and longer to do then anticipated. Just down the road from you in Carnoustie should you want to meet up.

How easy was it to pop that rear window out? Apart from the wing rust on mine it's the rust pockets on the roof that concern me most!!!

Nope, never had a problem with my roof (touching wood). What do you mean when you say sticky do you mean slow movement or not opening ???
Plenty info on here to help using search facility and willing to help with diagnosis.
