I am concerned that my car is too low in the front. After searching several threads, I realize that many of you like the lower front end. What I don't know is what is the ground clearance to be if the car is stock. Mine has 5.5" under the front bumper and the distance from the fenders to the center of the wheel at the front is 13" and at the rear is 14". Is this a normal ride height for a stock car? Could a few of you measure the fender/wheel center distance for me? It will be greatly appreciated.

It makes me laugh on here that for every post complaining about ride height, there is another post complaining about damage to the front bumper

SLKs are well known for being plenty low already - I'm grateful the car is short wheelbase so I can stand well back from curbs etc. (as there is no standard height - I don't trust any!)

Anyone else?

Is there anybody else who is willing to measure the distance from the center of the wheel to the fender on a r170 facelift car?
