I will never do that with Benzie... I'm not brave enough anymore...
I have ridden only my motorbike (no sidecar) for 20 years, from my 18th till 38th, also in snowy conditions and -15 à -20 degrees Celcius 🥶
At my 38th I got my car drivers license and bought a '69 C10 Chevrolet pick-up 😍

Used to ride my bikes in any weather. At least with 55 my hands don't go blue.
Would have dropped roof, but others were throwing up muck as they pass and wasn't going to drop it just to stage a photo.

Weirdest BMW kill story en route.
Came to staggered set of lights, BMW slipped, stopped and got passed. Only to find an oncoming car spinning wheels trying to get up the hill towards us, with another saloon trying to cross the lights in front of us, also lighting up the tyres.

Might not have got a Ponderosa Brekky, but stopped for a few pics of the marvellous scenery.
Couldn't stop at Pondy itself as BM numpty decided to try for a moving pass, in snow, before finding the seat was getting stained and pinch marked.

The observant may have noticed that the side for oncoming cars was relatively good.
Our side, next to the unguarded and sheer drop, was not.

The 55 was impressive.
A couple of light up moments but only one which developed into a bit of a slide.
Yep, at those lights. But of the 4 cars, the 55 slipped the least of all and moved off nicely (Yes, C).

Amazing views, so glad I can enjoy such winter views and rides vicariously...

Almost 5 years ago, I bought a paintless dent repair insurance from my dealership along with my SLK 300. This expires on 3 Feb 2023. On a rainy morning, I called the insurance and made a claim. Then, I drove to the dealership in rain, who asked me to take it to their recommended collision specialist (Classic Collision Buckhead). After a long team meeting that included the sales rep, manager, GM and the insurance company, it was decided that they must honor my warranty and claim in spite of staff shortage at the repair shop that will not allow them to perform repairs before the expiration date of the insurance. I got a free car wash and will take it back later on a sunny day so that all the dents can be examined. ;-)

Mmmm, clean bill-of-health!

Talked to him regarding the emission test, and how it compares to modern, more green-ish cars and apparently it’s almost to par with those!

Which, in a way, sucks because I pay the highest road tax. Which, if I understand it correctly, is in part (?) because of the (supposedly) high-er emissions.

On the other hand, it explains why it’s “geen-zone” free .

Yeah, time doesn't look right now that you mention it.. Ah, well. The date is ok, and the time is only a few hours off .

I was thinking Turbo, perhaps you could do something with the folding quarter panels next to the rear window. Perhaps wrap them with the Swedish flag or something?
