finally caught some nice weather on a day off work and gave the 350 a hand wash and towel dry. checked the fluids and went for a nice drive. when I returned the new low beam bulbs I ordered had arrived so I popped those in. Replaced the yellowish osram xenons with some 5000K Hella branded D2S. Nice white light output now and seems to light up the road better after taking a short night drive to test them out.
I went out this afternoon for an anti-det tootle and to top up the fuel tank. But what a shock it was at the service station! E5 Esso 99+ was £1.75 per litre, which works out at £7.96 per imp. gallon - or in colonial values, around $8.30 per US gallon!

Agree the price of Super Unleaded has shot up - But at least Your get a warm feel good factor that Your helping to pay the interest on the UK's 2.4 Trillion pounds of dept...
Doing the back brakes and I saw this on the shocks. Been looking at posts for the last hour but still don't know what. H 6 means.

Topped battery put on 350.
Got the ESP error.
Good spin down the lanes & a little play with some bikers (respectful on both sides).
Couple of waves off 172 owners. (Jeff, they waved ie oncoming & I was on mission..no carding)
Tippy tapping gave a nice 18.4 mpg return.

Well it' was a busy day yesterday. 3 hours of cleaning and I'm very happy with the result.
Cleaned the interior fully then wiped down the seals down before re gumming them.
Then after washing the wheels and giving the body a wash, went over the entire car with diluted Red 7 before snow foam, rewash and dry. Must admit got difficult drying at 8.30pm, daylight going and the rain not forecast till the early morning started early.
Now all wrapped up ready for next Sunday and the Sports cars in the park show at Newby Hall.
