I wanna ask, red color SLK which rim color fits this rim? I really want your opinions as I can't see it through this rim and can't find other AMG rims int he country as used, can't order because they are way heavy and it's gonna cost a fortune so

Am thinking:
1- Black caps with mercedes sign nikal, Screwdivers same color nikal, whole rim black and the circle out is same nikal ( just like the other amg rim.

2- same as above but red instead of nikal.

3- The whole rim white and the caps red with mercedes sign black.

Black caps, perhaps darken the inside section of the rim a shade or two
Inside section is it the one on the circle or the circle + the middle star? not the caps I mean the whole rim looks like a star so I suppose you mean the inside circle near where the AMG sign is I think I've done that before but got removed since the red color got spitted on it when I colored my car

I think LOA means the portion of the rim that is flat all the way around, where your fingerprints have smudged brake dust at the bottom (He'll correct me if I'm wrong). Way inside the wheel, all the way to the inside edge of the rim. Whatever color you paint the rest of the rim, painting that area in a gunmetal gray will help hide brake dust. Paint code 744 Brilliant Silver is a pretty good match for the standard wheel color.

If you are repainting all four wheels, you have infinite choices, really. Go with the original Silver, or go Black with black Star & Laurel center caps, or even duplicate the Red body color with black center caps. Personally, I like the idea of the Red body color with the interior in gunmetal, and black Star & Laurel caps. That would look stunning, IMO.

Hmm, maybe this old picture would help

I know there is something wrong bout it, maybe let the top tiny circle be standard silver?

I also found this cap, you think it fits great?

So if I put that cap on, my RIMS has to be Gray smoke silver lol, ok so the whole rim will be smoke gray but the screwdivers should be silver along with the circle near the tire, the tiny circle I mean just like the AMG wheels on SLK55 R172

or should I just go with red and black? just like this car, but I can't do the inside rim to red as it gets dusty with the brakes so fast

Another one is circle red, whole rim is black with silver caps

This one is what am trying to do, also notice the top ... now that's a new idea for me to do lol:

Well, you have a lot of possible options here and it seems that you will have a challenge making up your mind which way to go. As challenges go, that's a fun one to wrestle with. Some more observations, which you should feel free to ignore:

1. The red cap looks nice in isolation; I'm not as enthused about how it sticks out from the rim when installed. The old recessed red caps look better to me, of the two red ones.
2. Painting the whole rim in Gunmetal (MB Steel Gray metallic, perhaps?) would minimize the appearance of brake dust compared to a silver or red rim. Same goes for black. It looks like the flat face of the spokes is machined, and so is the outer circumference of the rim. If you want some shine, this can be masked off and left silver no matter how you paint the rest of the rim.
3. If you are going to mask things off, you can get as creative as you want. It all depends on how much you want to pay the paint shop. Here's another option for you: Mask off the spoke faces and outer rim to retain the silver. Paint the inside of the rim in Steel Gray or similar, to disguise brake dust. Mask that off too, and paint the rest of the rim red to match the body color. Use your red center caps or black Star & Laurel caps. Complicated paint work, but it would look stunning.

Recessed caps black (standard MB), do the recesses to the wheel bolts (I suspect you're using babelfish to translate) same colour red as your car, AMG monogram also in same red, rim between the spokes a slightly darker grey (hides brake dust), spokes buffed aluminium.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that am going to paint it by plasti-dip which can be removed by hand so it will be metallic color, any color tho hmm, I saw a silver smoke slk in kuwait with black rims .... at night I didn't like it at all, it was like the car was flying so I have to give shine to something bright and not hide all the silver.

I won't buy the new caps as 4 pieces is for 150$ shipped to me lol, I bought front bumper splitter ... am regretting that as we have so many street bumps here so maybe the splitter will smash into them ...

What am gonna do is the same as the first picture, black but should make the silver on the outside circle appear? or the edges near the big star rim all black? my car is red and black so I assume black is better than gray on that one, also notice where the screwdivers are, there is some edges on each one so am thinking painting that also but then it will look like a flower lol

I have to paint not plasti-dip the brake holders, am thinking the flag of germany since it's a german car and that's creative color on a brake right? if it's bad then yellow so the car is red, with black stuff and yellow brakes :p

I'll paint the brake holders too, so Red or Yellow? :p

Here is a picture to help! really appreciate the help guys
