Without the model lettering there's a chance that the whole car has been resprayed. Not necessarily a bad thing - but you'd want to know why. If you go to see a car, there are usually tell-tale signs if you look closely. Overspray on rubber seals, slight indentations in the paint surface when looking along the car with light reflecting on it to name but two. (Take a magnet with you to test for body filler)

Some folks like the plain look and remove all the badging. The magnet idea dose not always work. Knuckle knocks give distinctly different sound than steel and wheel arches are a good place to judge.
They do yes, but that's why I said 'There's a chance...' and is worthy of investigation at least :) There are body coloured parts not usually body coloured - very likely painted (possible body colour wrap but unlikely) - and removed badges - so definitely one to be more careful with if thinking of purchasing.. The magnet worked well for me when I looked at mine - positive strong contact over every metal panel, but as always a multitude of ways to check depending on your knowledge and experience....
