Well we`ve owned our SLK a few days now and having fun making those little alterations to male the car ours.
One thing the previous owner did wasn`t the best idea he had, he stuck a round plastic disc to on the dashboard above the retractable cup holder, presumedly to stick his sat nav to, not content with the double side adhesive base they come supplied with the idiot used a good amount of super glue, so now we are left with a rock hard layer of super glue to remove.
Obviously we don`t want to damage the vinyl, have thought about using Acetone applied with a cotton bud, very small amounts with great care to try and lift the super glue bit by bit.
Has anyone else come across a similar problem and if so how did you approach the job?
Thanks Chrissie. R)
