Dear all,
I had the same problem as all R171 owners about the Vario roof latch leaking, so I ordered the kit from a vendor on eBay, so it arrived a couple of days, now i am sharing the manual instruction, the kit came with hydraulic oil, you can buy from the dealer it´s cheap, and an O-ring- right now I don't know the size of it, i need a reference to measure, maybe this week i will post the size, follow the instruction step by step, I did the job by my self, one person can do it but please e careful on bleed the Pump, otherwise you will damage the system. work at good illuminate area, it could take around 4 hours to complete the job, for any questions I will be glad to help.

cheers

i believe it´s 6/8 outside and 3/8 inside, check Pic
Also be careful DON'T scratch the Rod of the cylinder, if you scratch, bye bye Cylinder will leak for ever, believe me I scratch it once and had to buy a new cylinder, here pic of my new cylinder,. I got lucky the MB dealer had mixed up price and bought this for 100 euro, it cost much more , please don't tell him :)
