Registered 1997 SLK230 Kompressor
I changed my plugs the other day and it looks as if one of the cover to head plug seals may be on its way out. The paintwork on my cover is of course in a sad state so I thought I'd track down a spare and refurbish it. That is proving very difficult. I need a A111 010 1330. Plenty of cheapish A... ... 1230 around. Externally at least, the 1230 and the 1330 look the same. I did find a thread on the German SLK site a few years back which tried to address the question of what if any difference there was, without success. It was claimed that the 1230 was fitted to the 200 Kompressor engine and the 1330 to the 230 Kompressor.....maybe. Can anyone throw any light perhaps?
