I have a noise when starting the engine. That goes away in about 10 seconds.
Sounds like a vacuum pump to me. I realize that with a supercharger the engine needs a vacuum pump to create vacuum.
Is this noise normal?
Should I chase a vacuum leak somewhere?

What you're probably hearing is the secondary airpump. Thes runs for about 20 seconds after a cold start to get the cat on temp quicker.
So what you're hearing is perfectly normal. If you don't hear it that's when you should be worrying. or when you hear it a lot longer. These things can't very well stand running for a prolonged length of time. In that case they blow up themselve and your wallet.
