Piecha Jaguar F-Type Is an Unusual Little Red Riding Hood - Photo Gallery - autoevolution

We're just kidding, there's a wild cat in disguise under that good-looking red-painted body kit, which probably ate the Big Bad Wolf in the process.

The Jaguar F-Type gained a lot of fans since its launch, and tuners being interested more and more in the coupé should come as a surprise. We particularly like Startech's work on the British feline, but there are other tuners out there trying their hand on the Jag.

Take Piecha, for example, a tuning house based in Rottweil, Germany. Their tuning program for the Jaguar F-Type is available for the 3.0-liter V6 Roadster and Coupé versions, as well as for the 5.0-liter V8 variants.

Unfortunately, the pack does not affect performances, but it comes with an assorted bunch of changes on the outside. Since we've opened the subject, it is worth mentioning that Piecha started with giving the F-Type a wider and muscular stance. Also, the tuner went for lights inserted in the side skirts - probably in an attempt to mimick luxury - but that's not what you really want on a car like the F-Type, right?

That's when the wide body kit comes into play, but that's only the tip of the iceberg. At the back, the F-Type was fitted with a diffuser housing four 90-mm exhaust pipes, so those overpassed by the car will know it means serious business.

The car is now sitting 30 mm (1.2 inches) closer to the asphalt, resting on a set of Piecha MP1 monoblock wheels. There's no word on pricing yet, but expect a five-figure sticker for all the exterior changes brought to the F-Type.
