When I bought this car the whole thing needed some big time tlc. The dealer I bought it from used a glaze on it to hide a lot of the nasty swirls and holograms. I’ve never done a whole car correction before, it was a lot of fun! Everything I know I learned off YouTube, so if I can do it, anybody can do it!

The process went like this:

Wash
Decon with iron remover
Strip wash to remove all the old wax and crap. That was pretty eye opening because it revealed that this car never met a drive through car wash it didn’t like. Lots of swirls and scratches.
Clay bar except I used a nanoskin clay mitt.
Compound
Polish
Touch up paint
Eraser wipe down
Ceramic coat

Whew, it was all worth it though! I had the wheels powder coated too while I was working on it. I’m really happy with the results!

Looks too much like real work. Another masochist standing in the shoes of the sergeant.

It looks great! What products did you use?
Thanks! I use Adams polishes. I’ve used their ceramic coating on several other cars and have been really happy with the results. It’s really user friendly too which was important to me.
