For the last few months I have been fighting with my transmission.

First attempt I tried to replace and install a URO connector, however I couldn't get the 7mm screw to catch, it was like the threads were different. I used the new o-rings with the old connector and put it back together after.

A couple weeks ago transmission went to limp mode for a minute or so.
I went to the dealer this time and bought their connector. This one fit without issue, however, there was some oil in the old connector + new o-rings. I cleaned everything up very well and put it all back together with the new MB connector.

A couple of days ago it went into limp mode for a few seconds again.

I just pulled the wire harness off to check for oil and sure enough, there was oil in there again. Not as much as before, but much more than a few drops.

So my question is if you put a new connector and o-rings and it still leaks oil, what is the next step?
I obviously don't want to go into limp mode.

The codes I have read from the iCarsoft are:
P0600 serial communication link error
p2001 Component N15/3 (ETC Control module) is faulty (current and stored)
P2404 The stop lamp switch signal from the traction system via the CAN bus is implausible (stored)

Forgot to mention, I replaced the brake switch a few weeks ago hoping to clear out the p2404 code. For some reason when I try and cleare out the transmission codes it will tell me that clearing has failed.

Are you sure the ATF is coming from the transmission end and is not old ATF that had wicked up the cable draining back down? Have you checked the under the hood connector on the passenger right) side where the fluid wicks up to?

I will look there later on when I get home.
It was much more oil there than I would have expected to see if it had wicked up.
Is that wire section replaceable without replacing the whole engine harness?

No oil in the control box.
I did find a bunch of garbage under it though.
I will need to pull out the battery to clean it out from under the box.

The transmission controller is inside the car, under the passenger carpet. This is where the wicking fluid does its damage. Did you inspect it too?

Seeing the exact same P2404 code and it will not clear, even after replacing the brake light switch as you did. BAS/ESP light is intermittent.

Did you find a fix? Thanks.

Since putting the dealer version of the connector in I have no more leaks there and not had any more trans issues.
I have not had any more BAS/ESP lights either.

I don't think icarsoft can clear out some of the transmission codes.
