The Top Operating sequence is as follows:

1. All the side windows are lowered

2. The trunklid is unlocked and opened

3. The top is unlocked and retracted

4. The 2-piece hat shelf is raised, and
the cover sections at the sides are closed

5. The top is lowered into the trunk and
locked in place. The hat shelf returns
to its locked position.

6. The trunklid is closed and locked

7. The front side windows are raised

8. The rear side winows remain in their
recesses to eliminate the potential of
injury from exposed corners

9. If the car starts moving while the switch
is operated, the system depressurizes at
a speed of above 5 mph

My car will complete up to step 5 and no further. Once top is lowered into the trunk the hydraulic pump continues to run (you can hear it) however the trunk will not close to complete cycle.

Can anyone give me any direction on how i may look into fixing my convertible.

Thanks a MILLION in advance!!
