In 1964, industrial design student John Spinello came up with the idea for a fun battery-operated game that tests the user's hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. He showed it to a Milton Bradley rep, who offered him $500 and a job in exchange for the game. Milton Bradley got mega-moneymaker "Operation," while all Spinello got was $500 (they never gave him that job he was promised). Decades later, his story is garnering a lot of attention, and a Kickstarter has been put up to get a documentary funded. Spinello came on RightThisMinute to talk about the (hopefully) upcoming documentary, "Buzz Heard Round the World."
