The restoration of the 540 K Streamliner represents one of the most complex projects undertaken by Mercedes-Benz Classic. Virtually every part that no longer existed, and every detail, needed to be individually made or tracked down in the Mercedes-Benz Classic collection. But that was ultimately part of the journey.

Everyone should make the pilgrimage to Stuttgart and do the MB museum (ok, Porsche is in the same city). The museum is unbelievable and Stuttgart is a nice city; the general area has lots to see as well.

I have a line on an apartment to rent in a nice area, reasonable price.

I went several times to the MB Museum when I was still prowling around in Germany.:surprise::surprise: If you love Cars make sure you do not pass up the Porsche and BMW Museum all very nice in there own way.
