Very nice pictures... Always good to see some creative ones. Your SLK looks low and styling.

The only question i have is: How many horses can you get out of a SLK55 AMG :biglaugh:

Hahaha as many as possible! It was actually quite crazy at the ranch the females were in heat and the stallion was going nuts! Theres about 20 or so horses there and he thought I was trying to take the females from him lol!

hehehe.

By the way, that SL aerial you have, does it just screw on. I never actually listen to the radio and open my car from quite close so i'm considering it for my future SLK.

Yes I believe so my buddy did it while I was at work I like it a lot better than the other shorter aerial I think it flows with the car better. As for the radio I listen to Sirius the whole time and for opening my car its not bad its gets some decent distance! I say GO FOR IT!!!!

If you're getting the facelift model, then the antenna is different. Facelift model seems to have a booster on the antenna mount and then a flexible antenna on top of that.

Pre-facelift model: the OEM whip antenna screws out and the SL antenna can then be simply screwed in as a replacement. SL antenna comes prepainted.

The range of the SL antenna can be increased from 30 ft to roughly 90 ft.

Here's my post from another thread:

Below is a photo of the range of the SmartKey after final modifications to the R230 antenna (2-car garage door opening is 16 ft, overall length of R171 is 13 ft), from where the photo was shot is about 100ft and SmartKey works at this distance and angle, but not farther :

:tu:Very nice "low rider" SLK 55. Wicked low look and the dark wheels are different from everything other than Cyberdrakon's SLK 55.

Great shots and the color combo looks really good. Never been a fan of black wheels but they do look really good on the silver. Are thay 19" and what did you do to lower the car?

Very nicely done CJ. The car looks very aggressive. The Porsche tips work surprisingly well. Overall, your car looks great and is very unique.

I would now just recommend maybe raising the rears via spring pads. Also, I think the CF diffuser and front lip spoiler would finish it off nicely.

Very beautiful car and great tastes on modifications, now with the rear eurotek diffusor coming soon you should get yourself a Kleemann lipspoiler as it will complement the balance nicely and add a menacing front look that you'd like to seek.

Enjoy it in good health and thank you for the quality pictures.

Thank you all for the kind words! :bannana:

Thank you! They are 19" Modular-Concept wheels I designed them myself with the owner of the company as for the suspension I put on H&R springs with #1 spring pads in the rear. When I first saw it I was very surprised with how low it was and when I first drove it completely that I was going to scrape everywhere. But a little tiny change in my driving style and I couldnt be happier with the car!

Thanks Dan! Yes I was quite surprised how well the Pcar tips turned out! :D I cant wait for that diffuser to come out because its deff what my car is lacking besides for a SC! lol

i love the stance of your car... it looks awesome! :tu: how's the ride?
The rides great its a bit stiffer than oem but I love it! How low it is is deff not for everyone but I enjoy it!

Thanks Moh! I cant wait for the diffuser and I too was thinking about the Kleemann front lip it gives the car a very aggressive look, I might have to bite the bullet and get one!

what kind of tips are those?
Well I got them off a Pcar that had an accident but I can for the life remember which kind it was. They are after market tips though from what the guys at the dealer tell me and they are made by Essiemenn!

A bunch of oaks... Pozo... Santa Margarita... ? IIIMBPIII, where do you hail?
LOL I live in Marin County! :biglaugh:
