Hello to all. This is my first time posting (I couldn't find) my problem in any previous threads so I hope Im not making an Ahole of my self here. I have a SLK R170 200 kompressor ('97) on LPG thats's going really badly. When revved above 3500 rpm and allowed to drop revs it starts to misfire horribly and I have to switch off and on again. I cleaned the MAF and the prob improved (didn't go a way) for a week and now its back worse than before (cleaned MAF again but no dif) It runs a little better on petrol but the same thing happens after a while. I have ordered an OBD code reader to check the errors. My questions are. 1 is it normal for the supercharger to blow really hard when it kicks in and decrease with engine revs (butterfly valve and air filter hose disconnected) or should the "blow continue to increase with engine speed. 2 The air from the supercharger is really hot - is this normal. The car is worth about 2500 euro BUT i really like it. Different mechanics have told me to change either : the Supercharger, the Main engine control unit, MAF, Cam sensor and even Lambda sensor.. If I did all this I could buy 3 or 4 SLK r170-- THESE mechanics are crazy. Anyone got any suggestions- Thanks in Advance - Anthony -

First please update your location and vehicle (Put Looking!)(year?: 1996-2017, model?: 32, 43, 200, 230, 250, 280, 300,320,350,55) in your profile as it helps the members answer your questions which usually are based on that information if you haven’t. This takes about 30 seconds to do.
Follow exactly to update: ‘Usercp’ at the top of page, then ‘edit your details’ on the left side, ‘additional information’ near the bottom, edit your ‘location’ and ‘vehicle’. Info in your garage does not update your profile.
