Can the Supercharged engine from a SLK 55 be dropped in to a 2005 SLK 55 ? I've got a 05 SLK 55 and would love to get the Supercharged engine in place of the NA engine.

Great upgrade. Could not take the video seriously when I saw they badged it as a Black Series though.

I get that it is hella fast and is aggressively styled but a black series this is not.

Do you mean the SL55 engine dropped in? There was a thread on mbworld where it was tried at least once, although I don't know if they ever got it working right. It's definitely not an easy swap.

Kleemann supercharger kit, like in the vid ... $10k or so.

Is it only me but do I smell a rat . 0-100km =4.9 that's the same is the standard n/a SLK55AMG , & the engine noises on the fly passed the noise was in front of the car & im not sure but the superchanger noise was abit iffy . I did love the bolt on rear diffuser fins >
