Hi to all!

I have a, well lets call it inconvenience with my slk: squeaking roof. Is there a way to fix it?

I noticed that there are some threads that point to an other where it might say how to fix it, but the link is broken.

cheers!

I don't know if you are still having any squeak issues, but I found this other thread (a tip from Leapyfish) on lubing R170's roofs and getting rid of top squeaks and creaks very helpful! Lots of detailed photos on lube spots.

I used the Honda Shin Etsu silicone grease today ($23.46 plus tax at Santa Monica CA, Honda). Lubed up all the front windshield, "mid top" and bottom rear windshield rubber seals, prior to driving back home. ALL the little squeaks, groans and vibration like buzzes from the top are now GONE. And the tube appears to have enough to re-grease many, many times...maybe 50 to 100 times.

I just used Sr. Banks demanding 2 minute fix of moving the stops located on the underside of the trunk and the cost was an amazing $0.00.
