Spot the mistake competition - Sorry! Pic now attached 馃槒

Hi all,

A bit of Sunday afternoon fun.

Spot the mistake on the pic attached.

There's a prize for the first one to spot it.

Rules of the competition:
1. The Sarge is excluded (he's always the first at everything )
2. First prize is the undying respect of forum members and is awarded to the first person to correctly spot the mistake on this post.
3. The OP's decision is final. No discussion.

Sure you did, Sarge. I believe you.

So....the story is, only discovered this a week after having new tyres put on.

In fact, this is the 3rd time that we have had tyres mounted incorrectly. I kid you not.

Once, we actually had a wheel practically fall off. I'm totally serious.

So, the moral of the story is - check and double check and check again whenever you have anything done.

At these speeds on the German Autobahns, it is even more critical.

Luckily, I had only driven about 100 miles.

Can that affect the tyre? Should I request (politely but firmly) a brand new tyre?

I had been enjoying an after dinner stroll in the evening sunshine... feeling tranquil and at peace.. 0:)0:)

Until I blew up the thumbnail and read the word Inside on the wall of the tyre... good grief..had no idea there could be a right side...cannot rest now...peace and tranquility have gone out of the window... :frown::frown:

must dash to the garage and check that the back tyres we had fitted last week are actually the right way round..

If I get indigestion.. Clown... I shall know who to blame...:wink::wink:

Funny thing is that a week and a half ago on Monday before taking off on a long trip to up state NY, one of my new Continentals was mounted the same way. I caught it as soon as I got home to check the torque of the wheel nuts.
