I want a spare. Just had a flat and it was not a good experience..

This is what I ordered:

172-400-58-00 Wheel, Spare $378.75 1 $378.75
212-580-00-18 Jack $172.50 1 $172.50
221-581-00-01-64 Socket Wrench $17.63 1 $17.63
171-898-00-14 Spare Retainer $8.63 1 $8.63

The question to forum experts are - did I order the right parts? Do I need anything else? Also do I need a shorter bolts for the spare or the original will fit?

Thank you in advance

where did u get those part numbers?
you also have not asked for your datacard cause if you did, we would have your vin and can check part numbers for those parts

FREE!! Post your vin in the Vehicle Datacard Request section to get a free datacard (options on your car). You must update your profile with vehicle info and your location and post an introduction first.

or

you can look up the parts yourself with your vin

I saw those for sale used on the internet at good value for money.
I tend to renew my tires early because it is a rainy environment here. Far from a guarantee but with good tires you rarely get a flat.

I have been considering a spatire tire too but For now I won’t.

I purchased the spare, jack, steel base for the jack, lug wrench, tire cover,,, but waiting for fittings that bolts the spare to the floor and shorter lug nuts, Once I get every thing sorted, I will publish the list of what is needed (part number, price etc) with pictures. In case any one is interested, they wont have to research it. There are similarities with SLK350 but not 100%.

The spare tire kit is now complete and installed. I will post some pictures with complete part list with cost as soon I find some time. Looks as if it came from factory this way.
