In Poland MB SLK is not a particularly popular car especially in version AMG 320, and therefore I will be happy to benefit from your experience. I travel frequently whether a motorcycle or car, especially to the south of Europe (Italy, France and Spain) and therefore the more it will be nice to meet colleagues from the forum somewhere on the route. Some countries already have a lively SLK forum. On mbslk.de the German speaking community (that's including Switzerland, Austria and even a couple of lost Belgians and Dutch) is represented. My french is pretty basic but traditionally Mercedes isn't a big seller in France so any SLK talk wil be covered by a more general mercedes forums. The Dutch SLK forum isn't really taking of either, so I linger aroind here and on mbslk.de.
Language is still the main handicap in getting easy cross-euro exchanges. Some countries don't even have second languages as a mandate in their schooling system which makes for an even bigger gap between 'them' and 'us'.
We saw a potentially huge gap in the countries that SLKWorld support.
This thread is intended to cover that gap.
The translation programs on the internet are pretty good, if not totally accurate.
We expect members to consider that English may not be the first language of a member.
As a biker who has spent a lot of time in France, some in several other of our European neighbours
I found one thing obvious.
