:tu: Interesting topic. I was born too early. My favorite music is from early 60s through mid 80s. Either I'm stuck in a time warp or just can't relate to music from the 90s to present.

Five songs I like and the artist, tons of other:

1. Cher - If I could turn back time
2. BJ Thomas - Eyes of a New York woman
3. Jerry Butler - For your precious love
4. Elvis - Suspicious minds
5. Rollings Stones - Satisfaction

That is a very hard question. Music is my first love and my collection is huge and spans many genres...from Rock (60s to date), metal, acoustic / easy listening etc...

To answer this, it depends on my mood I suppose. I'm in a rock/metal mood at the moment...so here goes (In current mood)

Enter Sandman - Metallica
Under the Bridge - Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Killing In The Name Of - Rage Against The Machine
Walk - Pantera
Davidian - Machine Head
Like Suicide - Soundgarden
Wormboy - Marilyn Manson
Deadfall - Snot
Spiders - System of a Down
Coma America - Amen
Do you Feel the Same - Silverchair

.....Sorry. Couldn't stop at 10!

Ask what music I normally listen to in the car; The answer would be different. I think Hendrix is great music with the Top down crusing around...suits the car down to the ground i think.

Although I don't own much Rap (The genre sort of passsed me by a little)...Dre2000 is a crackin driving album also.

I've got totally eclectic taste - I like anything, as long as (IMVHO) it's good - from 13th century madrigals to Gwen Stefani. When I'm on my bike, I just plug my pod into the sound system, and put it on shuffle, but I also have a CD in the system that I switch to occasionally. 'Pod on shuffle is wierd, there are about 4000 tracks on it - all rock, blues, pop etc. but no jazz or classical. (I also have a 20Gig Sony network walkman that I can swap it with, that has a load of jazz & classical as well) - all tracks are off my cd's or vinyl. I'm often amazed at some of the tracks - they'll be off weird cd's I have'nt listened through all the way through. The CD in the system will just be a 10 track selection from my music that I can turn to when I want something I know (?).

The current one is :-

Dream a Little Dream - Mamma Cass (which I'll sing to at the top of my voice)
Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
Changing of the Gaurd - Bob Dylan
Bohemian Like You - The Dandy Warhols
Flirtin' with Disaster - Molly Hatchet (THE best bikin tune)
Sally MacAlanne - The Pogues
Cardiac Arrest - Madness
Pendant que les Champs Brulent - Niagra
I love to Boogie - T Rex
Wailin' at Weavers - Paul Orton & the Kingpins

I'll have to reply next week and tell you what the next CD is ....
