Stumbled upon these autocross videos of me today. The car sounds glorious from the drivers seat, but now I know why people come up to me and ask what the hell is powering this little benz!

Does sound glorious.............

Whats going on with the front lip and side skirts?
It's blue painter's tape. Protects the lip and skirts from scuffs if I hit the rubber cones. The event in the first video was an autocross school. We did 24 runs in one day pushing as hard as we possibly could, getting as close to the cones as possible for fast times (which often meant hitting quite a few cones.)

Mark, you should try a road course. I started out with autocross and it was fun but after I took it out on a road track. I haven't touch an autocross course since. The excitement last longer.

I live on the island of Oahu, in Hawaii. No road course. I have been on road courses when I lived on the east coast though... but no AMG at the time!

Oh man, that sounds glorious! Makes me want to run an x-pipe and secondary cat delete! <3
The best part is the car sounds quiet and civilized when driving normally.
