The car's rear end is skittish on almost anything other that a perfect road.

It seems to be getting worst, but its recently become a weekend car so it may be I'm just used to the other car more.

I changed all the old rubber when I got the car 12 months ago, and had the alignment checked.

It's now got to the point that a ford focus feel better handling than my SLK.

its a 2006 car and I'm almost certain they are original. But the car has only done 55k miles.

any ideas?

Hi All
No way the ford is better than the 55 , mine sticks to road like that stuff I pick up off the lawn after the dogs have been out , I have had our 55 for about 6 years & can only get about 15k miles out the rear tyres . If your tyres are passed it the car would not pass the MOT , Did you check the pressures should be 35 rear & 32 front if standard size rims & tyres. Do you know if the car is set at standard ride height ie not using lowered strings .

Cheers

Andy
