Second hand front bumper covers are quite rare... If you're a DIY type and you still have all the pieces, you should at least consider a repair.

Looking for same SLK 55 AMG bumper cover in CT

Second hand front bumper covers are quite rare... If you're a DIY type and you still have all the pieces, you should at least consider a repair.
The underside of my 2005 SLK 55 AMG bumper cover is ravaged, though except for a paint pinch & flake above the left fog light, seen straight on the bumper looks fine. This is not an ad or recommendation, but I know a Brit forum member has had good luck with Isopon products; they have a bunch of applications, and are available in the US, from AutoZone and many other sources:

https://www.isopon.com/us/en/products/repair

I took my r171 to a local body shop, and the dollar signs in the owner’s eyes after he looked at the underside of bumper cover told me what to expect for an estimate, which I imagine will drop like a hot brick on my bare foot sometime today.

Someone posted a really good step-by-step on the forum recently about removing the bumper cover, which is a lot simpler than I thought, but I’ve lost track of the post. I will search again, but if anyone knows where the post is, I’d really appreciate a link to it.

Thanks!
