SLK55 AMG Noise/Rumble from rear

Hi all, twice recently on seperate occasions when driving on extremely wet roads I experienced an intermittent rattling or rumbling from the centre rear of car at low speeds when accelerating gently through a curve. Checked car over for exhaust issues or anything obvious but nothing found. Since I have had no problems. Any ideas?

Might be a broken spring, sometimes it's pretty hard to see/detect if it's just the tip ??
