Just having a poke under the bonnet the other day had the air cleaner off as I have a couple of small oil leaks on the oil filler gasket and the R/H side rocker cover where the MAF hose connects, looking at the position of the coils and spark plugs this is a V8 crankcase engine with 6 pistons 1-2-2-1 ?
Did MB try this just to make sure they could get a V8 into the SLK ?
Just an observation, any comments Jeff, I know its 15 years old but I like to know how things evolve.
