I am in the process of upgrading my calipers and rotors. I saw a thread on a nice upgrade for the SLK32 AMG.

https://www.benzworld.org/forums/r170-slk-class/1439418-great-brake-upgrade.html)

If I follow the details of this caliper upgrade would it be possible to install the hose to the calipers and leave them loose to bleed the brakes, as if you install them first the calipers are turned over and the bleeders are on the bottom. If they are left loose you could turn them so the bleeders where on the top and then after bleeding them turn them over and install them.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

I have done similar with a clutch slave cylinder on an MG TF, where the bleed nipple was not at the highest spot.

One thing I would say, is make something to fit inside the caliper to stop the pistons moving out. (block of hard wood or similar)

Unless you use gravity bleeding, then any other method will try and push out the pistons.
